The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is questioning Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan in the Mumbai drug bust case on Cordelia Cruises’ Empress ship.
NCB is questioning Aryan Khan in connection with the rave party that was busted on Saturday night off the Mumbai coast. Aryan Khan has not been booked on any charges, neither has he been arrested so far, said Sameer Wankhede, Zonal Director of NCB.
The NCB has also summoned 6 of the organisers who had planned the cruise party.
NCB sources have said Aryan Khan’s phone has been seized and is being scanned by the authorities. The narcotics bureau is investigating the chats received on the phones that have been seized from the drug bust.
Aryan Khan is Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s eldest son and child. The couple also has a daughter, Suhana Khan, and another son, AbRam.
The mobile phones of all those who have been detained from the Mumbai cruise ship have also been confiscated and all details are also being checked.
Three girls who had arrived from Delhi to join the cruise party were also detained and are being questioned. These include the daughters of some prominent businessmen.
On Saturday night, the NCB raided a cruise ship in Mumbai, which was departing for a three-day ‘musical voyage’ with people from Bollywood, fashion and the business sectors. Sources said the raid was conducted over the information about banned narcotics substances being seized on the cruise.
Acting on a tip-off, NCB officials led by zonal director Sameer Wankhede boarded the ship disguised as passengers on Saturday. The rave party began once the cruise ship left the coast of Mumbai and reached mid-sea.
India Today TV has accessed the details about the event which the organisers had promised to the guests during the three-day cruise journey. The cruise was supposed to depart at 2 pm from Mumbai and return at 10 am on October 4 after sailing in the Arabian Sea.
