On the occasion of 75th Independence Day, PM Narendra Modi announced Gati Shakti Plan for infrastructure building in the country.
“In the coming days, we will launch PM Gati Shakti Plan, a 100 lakh crore infrastructure plan which will make a foundation for holistic infrastructure and give an integrated pathway to our economy, said PM Modi.
“Gati Shakti will help local manufacturers turn globally competitive; also develop possibilities of new future economic zones. Rs 100 lakh crore Gatishakti initiative will bring employment opportunities for youth, help in holistic infrastructure growth,” PM Modi said.
PM further announced that 75 Vande Bharat trains will connect every corner of India in 75 weeks of Amrit Mahotsav of Independence.

The government’s focus is to make small farmers, who own less than two hectares of land and comprise over 80 percent of all farmers, the country’s pride, Modi added. Rice provided under any scheme will be fortified by 2024, the prime minister announced.
National Hydrogen Mission:
PM announced National Hydrogen Mission. “Today we have to pledge to make India energy independent before completing 100 years of independence. India has moved towards electric mobility and work is underway on 100% electrification of Indian Railways with the aim to becoming net zero carbon emitter by the year 2030,” PM said.
PM said, “We have to work together for the next-generation infrastructure, world-class manufacturing, cutting innovations, and new-age technology”.
