RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav said he missed two elections because of health conditions and detention, but now he has come back ahead of the by-election because of “people’s love”.
The leader added that on October 27, he will address the public in the bypoll seats of Kusheshwar Asthan and Tarapur.
Speaking on the alliance with Congress, Lalu Prasad said: “An alliance is formed with like-minded people and secular forces. At state-level also, we formed an alliance with Congress, Left and other parties.
RJD chief Lalu Yadav added that “Nitish Kumar has been eulogised …PM Modi, BJP would know… Everyone was sloganeering ‘A PM should be like Nitish’… He was being touted as PM material…such arrogance and greed.”
The leader also took a jibe at the BJP and said that fuel prices are soaring while diesel is costlier than ghee. “How will people cook without kadwa tel (mustard oil),” asked RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, while speaking to ANI.
The BJP-JDU alliance has pinned its campaign for the upcoming Bihar Assembly election on the 15-year “misrule” of Lalu Prasad’s RJD. Lalu Prasad dominated the electoral politics of Bihar from 1990 to 2005 when he and his wife Rabri Devi alternatively served as Bihar chief minister.
